LD Plate

AR Glass Load Distribution Plate

LD Plate is a load distribution plate manufactured with alkali-resistant (AR) glass fibers in two directions and developed as a complementary product in strengthening of the structures. Based on the project specification requirements, it can be cut to desired size and applied with mechanical anchors. LD Plate aids to create a strong connection between the load bearing structural element and the strengthening matrix resulting in a proper load transfer.

Areas of Usage
  • Strengthening of reinforced concrete structural elements, slabs, and historical structures with textile reinforcement.
  • Masonry walls.
  • Vaults and domes.
Advantages
  • It exhibits perfect harmony with the textile reinforcement and the mechanical anchor it is used with.
  • It works together with the textile reinforcement and the mechanical anchor during the elastic behavior of the structural element which results in a uniform distribution.
  • It is in rolls. It saves time and reduces labor by easily being cut to desired size thanks to its special design.
  • It shows high adherence with lime-based or cement-based mortars with special surface properties.
